    I hereby state my intention to (once again) read Moby Dick. My first reading was a forced one, in high school. High school is too early to be assigned this book, in my opinion, because it goes unappreciated. Unless of course, you have a teacher who engages the class and helps make the text come alive. My second reading was years later, after reading Ahab’s Wife (not to be missed!. written by Sena Jeter Naslund I have now been inspired to read the masterpiece once again because I am excited to match Patrick Shea’s songs with each chapter – wow, what a great way this would be to teach the book, yes? Yes.
