Patrick Shea

img_0489

Patrick is a nerd, a book lover, a math aficionado, an Ishmael, and an Ahab. He lives in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn with his wife, Amy, and works as a sixth grade teacher in Red Hook/Carroll Gardens. He grew up in Portland, OR, and has also lived in Grinnell, IA (for college), and Austin, TX (for a try). Patrick’s musical life began with a trumpet in the fifth grade, lasting until the advent of braces. Since then, Patrick has predominantly written and played music on the guitar, but also on and off as a pianist. His love of pop and garage rock blankets an interest in theory, classical, and jazz, though by no means an expert or even competent participant in any or each.
